Michal Niedzielski, PT, PRC
Over my 50 years of dentistry, I have had the honor of meeting many innovative practitioners. Professionals that are truly striving to improve the health and well-being of their patients.
Many health professionals limit themselves by staying within the sphere of their professional specialty. They are comfortable with what they have learned and have spent many years perfecting their craft. They limit themselves within the safety of their professional cocoon.
Then, there are other professionals that know no bounds and continually push the limits to expand their knowledge and realize that integrating their specialty with other professionals presents a wonderful opportunity for interdisciplinary care.
I have had the good fortune to meet Michal Niedzielski, a physical therapist who is truly one of those dedicated professionals always striving to expand his knowledge. Michal began his career treating the most physically compromised patients. That experience has driven him to push the boundary of the practices he had learned in the classroom to the realization in his own words, “The whole body is dependent on interaction between our breath and physical action”.
Fortunately, working together we form a synergistic relationship to improve our patients’ breathing and health. Homeoblock therapy has been shown to improve the oropharyngeal airway. However, I recognize the advantage that the expertise of understanding the full body function that Michal brings to best treat our patients.
In Partnership with Dr. Theodore Belfor – by Michal Niedzielski
Over the years, my journey has introduced me to many incredible people: teachers, coaches, scientists, clinicians and professional practitioners. They all fueled my long-time passion to understand and to be able explain underlying human patterns for restoration of our function. Recently, I found myself at the doorstep of an amazingly cooperative relationship with Dr. Ted Belfor. Working together, we are focused on the single most important issue for both of our work: airway improvement for systems balance and homeostasis . Dr. Belfor is able to influence it from a stomatognathic direction and I can organize it through thoughtful body movement. This means: a well trained Homeoblock™ dentist can structurally change the face and the airway, and the skillful body worker will influence the function of breathing through physical body movements, based on the change of the pressure that enters and leaves us.
It is my pleasure to introduce you to Michal Niedzielski. – Dr. Theodore Belfor
